Perfecting your elevator pitch

If you took a 60 second elevator ride with a potential business partner and you had that 1 minute to make an impact, what would you say?

Firstly, consider your objective. Who is the partner? What do you want them to do after they leave the elevator?

Secondly, with your objective as the centre point, mind map the content of your pitch - include the following in your map (and possibly more):

What’s the problem? What’s the solution? Who’s the target market? Who’s in your team? Who’s your competition?

You should KISS (keep it short and simple) your mind map and include your USP (unique selling point). It should also be exciting!

An elevator pitch is a short presentation so your delivery should be impactful. Excite with great visual and vocal communication skills - draw in your potential business partner and achieve your first objective.
